A baby Nyala is born

RAPTORS VIEW - A baby is born at No 256 Martial Eagle Wednesday 20th October 2010

As Chris Bennett was about to leave for Johannesburg at 6am in the morning, he noticed a heavily pregnant "Nyala" in the plants outside his kitchen and lounge window, almost sure she was going to give birth and not sure if it would take 10mins or an hour, he woke his daughter Lisl to come watch.

10 mins after leaving the house Lisl phoned to tell him the baby was born and she had taken photos.  From birth to standing on his own was a time span of 30 minutes.  A wonderful experience and some fantastic shots Lisl, well done !!
